Cane Brooks

Every company has its staff members who simply ‘make things work’, and when it comes to Birding Ecotours that’s Cane. Being in charge of the company’s office administration, Cane forms an integral part of the Birding Ecotours team. Whether it be contacting clients, uploading our latest and greatest blog posts, answering your email queries, organizing tour logistics, making sure our clients enjoy nothing short of an incredible time spent on one of our tours…you name it, and Cane is handling it!

Cane has a National Diploma in Nature Conservation and both coordinated and guided youth development/environmental education programs at the De Hoop Nature Reserve (South Africa) before joining the Birding Ecotours team. It is thus understandable where their friendly and helpful nature stems from, both of which are attributes strongly representative of our company and what we look for in our staff.

When not making sure that the Birding Ecotours machine is well oiled and functioning at full capacity, Cane enjoys spending time traversing local forest patches with their family, enjoying any avian gems found.
